What Indian childhood memories taste like…

Before recipes had reels and snacks came in packets, our flavours lived in moments.
The after-school hunger, the smell of something toasting in the kitchen, the sound of steel tiffin clicking open, etc.
Every bite had a backstory. It was made from what was lying around, stirred with love, and served without #foodstagram hashtags.
It was never about presentation. It was about comfort.
Somehow, those simple things ended up tasting like home and stayed with us forever.
This Children's Day, we're celebrating those kitchen-made memories, the flavours that defined our childhood!

We didn't think much of it back then.
The uneven jam, the extra butter, and the sugar that crunched between bites felt ordinary.
But now, those are the memories that come back first.
Childhood didn't taste like luxury. It tasted like love, fixed in minutes.
Cheers (with a glass of Rasna, of course) to the snacks that fed us, the hands that made them, and the flavours that still feel like home!
How many of these were a part of your childhood too? Comment below!
