Seviyan (vermicelli) kheer

Seviya broken (vermicelli) 2 cup/s
Ghee 2 tablespoon/s (tbsp)
Sugar 1.5 cup/s
Milk 8 cup/s
Elaichi powder 0.125 cup/s
Sliced or crushed almonds 2 tablespoon/s (tbsp)
Almonds, sliced 2 piece/s
Pistachios, chopped 1 tablespoon/s (tbsp)
Saffron Strands (kesar) 1 pinch


1. Take a microwave oven safe glass bowl, add ghee and seviya, mix well and cook for 3 minutes to roast it. (Stir twice in between).

2. After beep, remove and add milk, sugar, mix well and cook for 6 minutes.

3. Add all other ingredients other than pistachios, mix well and cook again for 3 minutes.

4. Serve hot.
