Paneer Khurchan

This is Paneer Khurchan, the advanced and modernised version of a Paneer Kadhai where the paneer is cooked until it touches the bottom of the pan and then the khurchan is scraped off with the kadhchi..Hence the name Paneer Khurchan. One of the best Paneer recipess you'll ever come across.

Paneer 1 kilogram (kg)
Tofu 1 kilogram (kg)


1. Shallow fry the paneer pieces. (Completely optional and personal).

2. In a pan, heat oil. Add jeera

3. Add sliced onions. Saute well

4. Add slit green chillies. Sautee

5. Add Ginger Garlic paste. Sautee

6. Add black salt

7. Add kashmiri red chilli powder

8. Add haldi

9. Add dhaniya powder

10. Add jeera powder

11. Add garam masala powder

12. Add aamchur powder

13. Cook well

14. Add sliced tomatoes.

15. Add sliced capsicums.

16. Cook well.

17. Add salt as per taste.

18. Add water and cook well.

19. Add crushed kasoori methi.

20. Add fresh cream.

21. Add the fried paneer pieces.

22. Cook for a while.

23. Serve hot.
