We all have our favourite desserts. But do you know that the humble Apple Pie isn’t as American as you think! Or how about ice cream, which traces its roots to 200 BC in China where people mixed rice with milk and froze it using snow. It then made its way to Europe courtesy Marco Polo, the Venetian explorer.
