Christmas in Mumbai is a total mood and the culinary scene is absolutely thriving. Whether you are looking for a traditional roast that reminds you of home or a modern festive menu that pushes boundaries, we have curated the definitive list for the holidays.
We teamed up with Shilpa Chawla (@shilpa.foodie), to bring you her exclusive "Must-Visit" list, featuring detailed menu highlights you won't find just anywhere. Plus, we’ve added a few of our own favourites to round out your holiday calendar.
Taj Santacruz
If you want variety and a taste of something premium, Taj Santacruz is pulling out all the stops across its restaurants.
Shilpa recommends
For those who love roasts, Tiqri is the place to be, offering a Christmas Eve and Brunch menu featuring the signature "Game of Feathers" roast turkey, Maple-Glazed Baked Ham, and "Catch of Atlantic" baked salmon. The brunch adds a Free-Range Meadow slow-roasted Aussie lamb and a Circle of Crown roast pork. Rivea presents a European Mediterranean set menu complete with their signature roast turkey and plum pudding, complemented by mulled wine. Finally, satisfy your sweet cravings at Sweet Tooth with their must-try Signature Plum Pudding (steamed with brandy sauce) and German Stollen Bread.
Hornby’s Pavilion, ITC Grand Central, Lower Parel
If you want that old-school, colonial Christmas charm, this is it. The setting is grand, the hospitality is unmatched, and the buffet is legendary.

The menu features a heavy-hitting Christmas Eve lineup including Roast Turkey with cranberry sauce, a Roast Leg of Lamb, baked fish, and grilled winter vegetables. The Christmas Brunch expands the spread to include Chicken Roulade, Prawns Paupiette, and Quinoa Salad with winter veggies. For dessert, the non-negotiable classics are Yule Log, Cranberry Pie, Dundee Cake, and Mince Pie.
Bandra Born, Reclamation
For a Christmas meal that feels cool, edgy, and local, Bandra Born is the place to be. Their menu pays homage to Bandra's heritage.

The menu features Small Plates such as Roasted Red Carrots with carrot butter and smoked feta, and a warming Ginger Pumpkin Soup with bourbon whiskey. For The Mains, they offer Pork Vindaloo (made with the Fernandes family recipe and served with fugiyas!) and a Honey Glazed Whole Roast Chicken with sourdough stuffing. The Showstopper is the Pepper Crusted Tenderloin served with a bone marrow Yorkshire pudding.
Goa Portuguesa, Mahim, Powai
Can’t make it to Goa? This is the next best thing. They are bringing the "true spirit of a Goan Christmas" to Matunga, with live music.

The menu's specials, available until January 4th, 2026, include a robustRoast Turkey with pepper garlic sauce, Lamb Chops, Stuffed Pepper Crab, and Arroz (seafood pulao). A recommended vegetarian choice is the Smoked Cottage Cheese Cannelloni.
Mazi, Santacruz (W)
Sometimes you just want a festive drink and a break from the shopping madness. Mazi is serving up "Holiday Cheer" in a cup and a lot more.

For drinks, you can choose a warm Gingerbread Latte, a Strawberry Matcha Latte (made with A2 milk and fresh strawberries), or the indulgent S'mores Hot Chocolate topped with marshmallow and biscuit crumble. If you prefer a subtle chili kick, try the Mexican Chili Hot Chocolate. Their Christmas special food menu includes Brie Stuffed Cranberry Chicken, Pesto Asparagus Burrata, X’MAS Cheese Log, Pomegranate Glazed Salmon, and a Veggie Pot Pie.
