Chicken Pakora

A very popular snack from 80s and 90s that used to be sold in many restaurants across Kolkata, which slowly has been forgotten

Ingredients

Chicken mince 250 gram (g)
Egg 1 piece/s
Onion chopped 1 piece/s
Garlic chopped 2 tablespoon/s (tbsp)
Ginger chopped 2 tablespoon/s (tbsp)
Chili chopped 1 tablespoon/s (tbsp)
Coriander chopped 2 tablespoon/s (tbsp)
Sugar 1/2 teaspoon/s (tsp)
Garam masala 1/2 teaspoon/s (tsp)
Kashmiri Red chili powder 1 tablespoon/s (tbsp)
Dhania powder 1 tablespoon/s (tbsp)
Besan 1 tablespoon/s (tbsp)
Maida 1 tablespoon/s (tbsp)

Method

Mix together chicken mince, egg, onion, garlic, chili, ginger, coriander, Kashmiri mirch, dhania, salt, pepper, sugar, garam masala, maida and besan. 

Once mixed well, keep to chill in the refrigerator for 30 mins 

Heat oil and fry till golden

These can be made into flat kababs too by shallow frying the same mix Also the pakodas can be added to any gravy to make kofta curry
