And we saw how our humble haldi doodh created quite a stir last year when it transformed into the chic turmeric latte. From turmeric to coconut oil, Indian ingredients are stimulating taste buds across the world. As highlighted in the Godrej Food Trends 2018 Report, globally, people are relishing the desi flavours and taking inspiration from Indian cuisines. At the FBAI Awards held in March 2018, we asked food experts about the desi ingredient which they think is likely to become a hit abroad. Here's what they had to say.
